I have no probs with the Sunday version as it's very informative but some of the people they have on the show simply aren't up to the task and would be lucky to spell their own name. Sort of like Wally Lewis on NRL on Fox. He gets flustered so easy and then starts talking sh*t.

Brandy is a great league mind and Lozza if he can turn the blinkers off adds a bit of subtle humour and Warren Smith is a great anchor IMO. Much better than the footy show.

did u watch the season preview on Fox on weds night? Wally, as u wrote, was completely flustered and had NFI!
Wally is one of my all time favs, but has NFI as a commentator on the game.

As for the thurs footyshow...eh...its crap, has been crap since 2002.

Some people need to understand that the thursday night footy show isn't about talking football, its just an entertainment show with a football theme. The ratings are good for it so why would they change it? Personally I love it.

I think the footy show should be something its has NEVER tryed to be....so therefore mI am going to bag it.

I'll watch it every week without fail and pretend to look down my nose at it all season long....but I'll still watch it.

The Footy show is bloody good entertainment, its good for a laugh, you get to see the footy players outside of the norm.......these people that keep p*ssing and moaning about it need to get a life! :lol:

I have put up 10 years of Eddie and Sam being dickheads on the AFL Footy and for once last year, my dad got a Satelite TV box and i now get it from Alice springs TV and at 9:30pm(Unfortanly 10:30pm because of Time Difference of daylight savings), i get the footy show(better than the After midnight showing in Melbourne) and i rather watch the NRL footy show than dickheads in AFL.

The NRL footy show when it came to melbourne at Crown Casino in 2000 rated in the Top 2 "Footy Shows" in Melbourne.This is Both Footy shows programs.

Eddie and Sam may be dickheads. But they are at least dickheads who talk about footy on a show called the Footy Show. Fatty and Sterlo are dickheads who should be sued for false advertising.
