The Footy Show thread 2010

Just watching the AFL footy show. It is just light years ahead of the NRL version. It is better in every way... besides being based around AFL. They fit in humour while talking about football, not dressing up in stupid costumes and cutting away to pre-produced sh*tty videos. And the videos they do have after ad breaks are of way better value and are related to football or current affairs to do with football.

I hope the Matty Johns show takes a few points from the Victorian show.

I loved his impersonation of the Roosters. Gold-ness.

What do you expect? It's supposed to be a variety show. They're always going to mix in a few sketches and have a bit of fun. That's the whole point of variety.

Anyone can have a bit of fun. Whether it's quality enough for tv viewing is another story.

It was sh*t. Unless you supported one of the teams in the games shown by 9 you got about 10 seconds about your team at 11:00pm when they "previewed" the games. It's meant to be a f**king "Footy Show".

At least last year they made an attempt to get back somewhat to actual footy talk, even though vossy got to me.

I still don't know what Girdler did to piss the 9 execs off.

If they want a Variety show call it the The Fatty Vautin Dancing Fools and Comedy hour,anything but the Footy show
