despite channel v trying their hardest to ruin my love of the art that is a music video, alot of contempory music has a whole new dimension added when viwed in conjunction with an appropriate music video. Maybe im justa visual person, but i love a good music video, ones of note include

star guitar - chemical brothers
fat controller - squarepusher
all is full of love - bjork
rabbit in your headlights - UNKLE feat. tom york

and then as a rule, anything by tool, aphex twin, and crystal method

For me I find it hard to go past One by Metallica, Innuendo by Queen and any video by TISM

Some good choices there. You'dve loved this thing me and my missus went to a couple of weekends ago at the opera house, it was a screening of about 25 newmusic video that really pushed the boundaries of the artform, partularly ones that used digital animation etc. There was some amazing stuff, a couple that stuck in my mind were Muse's "Sing for Absolution" and Mogwai's "Hunted by a Freak", the last one actually managed to make my girlfriend cry! There was an a couple of amazing videos by Bjork and Air as well.
It's a pity though that most of what passes for music videos of MTV and channel V these days is little more than glorified soft porn. (though the recent one with the babies skydiving ont othe hot looking babe was kinda cool!)

In The Navy - Village People

And seriously..

The Hell Song - Sum 41
Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden
American Woman - Lenny Kravitz
Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes

And for irony...

Show Me How to Live - Audioslave

These are all mainly new songs... prooobably because I haven't been around long enough to watch older clips.
