We are probably indebted to Terry Quinn at the CRL..After all, he is the one who told Barry Toohey at the Sunday Telegraph that to get our scheme up and running was 'Pie in the Sky' stuff.
Been the BEST money spinner and promotion idea this Club has come upon..that's for sure...

ok, so you abandoned group 17 than blame the CRL...

you also promote 1 game a year where you invite a couple of ex footballers to represent you club for a one off game, you register them for the 1 game, collect the gate takings and the poor suckers that have to play them have been training together for the whole season and then come accross to Hay only to find 2 to 3 ex origin players in the opposition team..:? not to mention the poor players who have to forgo their spots to let these blokes play..

you cannot convince me thats fair or reasonable for that competition (group 20?) ..no way!

Symptomatic of the every club for itself attitude of country league...it's luckily not a problem in the Canberra group, or places like Yass and Cowra...
