I`ve got a couple of questions for everyone.
Do the Wests Tigers and the Wests Tigers fans want to embrace the Liverpool-Macarthur region as it`s own or not?
The next question is why would any talented young footballer from this region such as Brett Hodgson, John Skandalis, Chris Lawrence, Jarryd Hayne, Israel Folau and Krisnan Inu just to name a few, feel any sense of belonging or attachment to the Wests Tigers in their current form and with their current plans???
it`s quite obvious the likes of Hayne, Folau, Inu etx didn`t feel any sense of belonging or attachment to what is supposed to be the local club in the area they grew up in!

Brett Hodgson, John Skandalis, Chris Lawrence did.

The Wests Tigers like to claim the Liverpool-Macathur region which includes Minto is parts of their territory, what are they doing to stop more and more of the best up and coming talent from the area of walking down that same path?

What about the likes of Hayne, Inu, Pritchard, Scott, Hodkinson, Paea, Loko etc?
Would have been nice to have them playing for us wouldn`t it?

Everyone says how bad illawarra have it in our JV, but do they really?
6 nrl games in the gong (5 at kogarah and 1 at sfs)
1 trial game in the gong (0 at kogarah)
Players train full time in the gong
Play in old colours and old jersey as our alternate jersey
Illawarra steelers nsw cup team (no st george)
An abundance of illawarra juniors in the nrl side

As a st george fan im more than happy for these (except an extra game at kogarah would be nice, but meh).

Pretty sure wests would take those in a heart beat.
The Illawarra NSW Cup team has nothing to do with either St.George or the Steelers club. Neither of the fore mentioned are putting any money into the team. The money is coming from the Illawarra Leagues and some local businesses. St.George has the money in the JV and they made it clear that they did not want to fund ($500 000) a team in the NSW Cup, just as is happening now with the Magpies. If St.George was putting money in they would want he team to be called the Dragons.....all to do with the brand.

This is exactly my point, St-Illawarra have organised things this way to ensure they get the bulk of the large and talented junior base of the Wollongong region wanting to play for their club. They had others such as the Stewart brothers not real interested in playing for them while they were based at Kogarah!

Cant keep them all.....even the 'experts' in Saints cant

Hear Tommy on Sports Sunday today?

''I played for Wests from 69 and coached up til 99...theyre a great club but the admin has always been useless.''

And hes right, Wests have always been a basket case

Saints don't have any 'kids'. The Dragons do and they've looked after Prior, Young, B Morris, Merrin, Creagh, Cooper, Hunt, Rein, Hornby, Nightingale, K Stanley, C Stanley, Atalea Vea....I think that's not a bad start.

Stewart, Stewart, Morris, Bailey, T Sims. Thats all you'd have. Houston was good too.

Two of them played a lot of first grade for Saints. The first 2 should never have been let go. The last one would have been a Dragon if his brother wasn't such a tard.

We've won a comp in the last 2 years.

Easy come. Easy go.

Neither can Wests...

Wests Ashfield CAN afford a NSW Cup team.

If Balmain can't afford a side, then they shouldn't force Wests into a merger at NSW Cup level. If there is to be a single NSW Cup team, then it would be more beneficial for the game have the NSW Cup team based full-time in Soutwest Sydney instead of a Wests Tigers NSW Cup team playing all over the shop.

Wests Ashfield can afford a side so I don't know why they have caved in to Balmain. The teams should be:

NRL: Wests Tigers
NSW Cup: Wests Magpies
Bundy Cup: Balmain (if Balmain even care to have a senior team anymore).

unfortunately balmain gets everything their way
