i'll let you answer this question yourself.
Feefs is still making 25-35 tackles per game. You take a hit up & you run at brailey & Chad. You going for the quick play the ball or the offload. Nek minut, this unholy power comes around your body & in an instant your are crushed to the earth with what feels like the weight of the moon on your back. As you try & try & try to lift this immovable object off, so you can get up, your realise that your energy is being sapped, so you give up & you wait for the tide to go out.
You get up play the ball, & wach your mate doing the same & realise that the same thing has befallen him, but you realise this unmoveable weight is not the Moon, it Andrew fifita.
You watch it happen 35 more times & you think, geez, imagine if he was healthy.
Meant to like. Ended up quoting

Well its a known fact, the only time he runs is session prior to captains run & on game day. I'm pretty sure its a medial that needs doing. His confidence going into contact is gone.
He is the best front rower in the world, who is damaged currently.
You'd think he'd get a bit more respect from his own fans.? I use the term fan as loosely as he his knee has become.
I’m not dumping on him, his increased weight isn’t helping, whatever the correct diagnosis of his actual ailment(s) is.

If what you say is true about his lack of training, he hasn’t adjusted his diet to accomodate for the reduced calorie burn.

That would explain why he is clearly overweight and out of condition, as well as injured.

Which was my point.

I don’t see it that way. More of a beautifully timed third man in flop. Either way the ball carrier is trapped by the weight.Play the ball slowed , good outcome. But then there is the attack. Just get it fixed.

Frenzy.

Yeah, but he's not healthy ATM and it isn't in defence where a fit Feefs leaves his mark. He's not making any less tackles than any other year really. He is hampered laterally mainly.

His tackle breaks, run metres, number of hit ups, post contact metres and offloads are seemingly all down. That, to me, is where Fit Feefs is missed

Exactly. And the longer he plays busted the more likely he is to do another injury or worsen his existing injury. Either way it will be a longer lay off.

& 1 error compounded by a penalty!

He went very well yesterday, when running direct!

Shame the drop ball & immediate penalty didn’t get fixed with his weeks off.

then he should have been dropped for the 8 months it will take for his knee to improve
That's what makes me think he was dropped - 1 week aint gonna fix his farked knee, or even make it slightly better, he had a 3 week ban and came back no better.
Throw in the suggestions that were around that Morris was struggling to reign in the egos of experienced players - I reckon he's made an example of Feefs.
He had a couple of shockers in terms of output and attitude, then suddenly has a week off for a long term injury that cannot be fixed with just a week out.

Yes it was a miraculous recovery!

He learnt nothing from costing us the first Warriors game, as I suspected.

Great to see him back to his rampaging best on Saturday but a shame he had to make that error then multiply it exponentially by giving away a penalty.

He could still be the best prop in the game if he just got back to running straight (like the weekend, mostly) & being disciplined.

If the knee is not so bad, he can really make an impact on the rest of this year.

Be good to see lazy Xerri leave his Centre position & follow him up the guts looking for the offload. Annoys me watching him watching the game from a distance. He will shine when he has a broken defence, not running into 3 defenders out wide.

I mostly get the shits with Feef's dumb penalties etc, however, when he plays like he did on Saturday it outweighs a couple of brain-snaps and I'm more forgiving.

Im guessing the knee has little power going forward pushing thru defenders.
Hes doing a lot of sideways running and propping and ld say this is a protective thing.
Better centre of gravity stance and less chance of getting screwed around.

But he deadset looks like dropping every time he gets up to play the ball.
