Well the Raide Pirates lost their Cup match 4-1, not to bad considering theyve no longer got me as their coach....but good news fellas, i got a new team, Piran Suns FC.... :mrgreen:

I lost my Cup match 1-2 which I think is friggen fantastic because I fielded a 2nd rate side and against a side 2 divisions higher (Div 3) then me, had one of my best players injured off the field in the 13th minute.... and even then went into extra time.

Oh I also forgot, I had my first choice striker out with an injury

I got beaten 2-0 in my cup game, which I'm majorly disappointed about. I really went all out to win, sacrificing a trainee for the week and playing 4-4-2 and also MOTSing. Managed to win midfield with a inadequate (very low) rating (my best ever midfield) and also beat my opponents defence and one attack rating down the right side, but still got beaten.

And I now play the super-power in my league tomorrow, so am expecting to get smashed and go three competitive games in a row without a win for the first time in seasons.

Earlier this week they went down 3-0 in a friendly against the West Coast Cougars (odd, I didn't know there was a western coast for NSW). The result isn't expected to be pretty against the soccerboys on Sunday.

Bah, another unlucky loss for me. That's two in my last two matches.

But again, good news comes out of the match. One of my trainees hit 6 stars (actually, I just checked and he also got 6 in the cup match), and my 18yo who I'm hoping will make the U20 Oceanian side next season got 5 stars. Albeit he was played as a defensive wingback (they normally seem to get a boost) and was in excellent form, but he's still the highest rating of all Oceanian defenders who were pulled last season.

yay, another solid win for me. that's three in my last three matches.

As seems to be the way at the moment my team continues to move foward. We're above the promotion line with our current form and only need to maintain it for almost certain promotion. The stadium upgrade continues to get closer...
