I love managing games, what's this one all about? If it's an online game do you need cable because i don't think my dial-up will be good enough

Its like playing CM online.....you get a team all your players are rated and you play in a league against other random people form here there and everywhere.

Dial up is fine......sign up and get involved :D

Yep, the best description is basically an online version of Championship Manager (or any other football manager game).

Anybody still in the cup? I noticed Dog-E got knocked out today, so if everybody else is out we could go onto the next round of the LU Cup next week.

that would be the LU cup without me in it!!!

all the best everyone.
i've decided that i might just wait until next season before i start up again. unless someone could convince me why it'd be better to come in half way through a season. i've still got about 4 weeks to wait.

Because you will be able to start training sooner and have a bit of time to change your squad before the new season.

Besides you can come in here and talk to us again like old times 8).

Yep, i'm GORRRn from the cup allright!...Ripped off I tell ya!...I even threw soup & pizza all over the opposition manager in the tunnel @ halftime but...still to no avail! :(

So....I'm good to resume next week - or if not, I have a couple of promised friendlies i could arrange....and we could start the week AFTER next!?

Either is cool with me, but try & see if we can rustle every1 up & make a decision say, by the end of tomorrow?...else my mates may be all booked up, and others could find it hard to arrange a friendly @ short notice!

PLUS, I FINALLY have my ADSL connection established at my new house!!!...WOOOOO! No more surreptitious lineup changes when my boss isnt looking, while I'm sposed to be working and then stuffing my lineup because i cant double check things - WOO HOO indeed!!!! :p

Well I challenged my opponent for the next round of the cup (CKA). We may as well start it back up again now, unless somebody prefers to wait a week.

Fair enough. We can split the first week back in two like we did last time, so those who have arranged their matches can play this week and then have a normal friendly next week, while the others can do it the other way around.

Ended up getting a shade under $6m for that magnificent defender, so I'm currently sitting on the most money I've ever had ($8.5m). Unfortunately I still don't think it'll be quite enough for the player I've currently got the highest bid on, a 20yo worldclass playmaker with passable defending. :(
