Bit of a worry, any truth to the reprimand of rooney before the blackburn game?

Then subbed during the toon game.

Disharmony in the squad?

He turned up to hungover to train on the 27th. Therfore was dropped for one game.

Was back for Newcastle but was subbed as he was having an off day along with everyone else.

No disharmony. A blip in form for the team. It happens.

Nice to knock the light blue merkins out of the Cup, even if our performance was pretty ordinary with a 1 man advantage.

We were 3-0 up and cruising. At there place. Already one up when they went down to 10 men. We were told City have made the council house a fortress. They have spent a billion. They are top of the league. United were in crisis after losing two in a row.

I'd take that win thank you very much. A bit nervy at the end, but whn is watching United any different?

We slowed to much in the second half and its time Fergie really sorted it out, he was steaming at the end. The early goal gave City the will to go chasing. If the ref hadn't bottled out of the clear pen however, when Kolarov rugby tackled Valencia it would of been a lot easier.

Forget all this moral victory cr*p. City are playing with the big boys now. There is no moral victory, they are not some plucky little team.

Manchester United fan. Spent eighteen months in UK after University working as intern at a local rag though getting to as many Manchester United and Wigan Warriors games as I could. Best sporting time of my life thus far. Hope to catch up with fellow Man U fans over the rest of the season.

I sense sarcasm...each to their own. I grew up in a Manchester United & Sydney Roosters household. I had no choice!

I agree. He hates the Bundesliga though, so to get on his good side try something like "Robben failed everywhere but finally found his level".

He will laugh along and probably put a gif of him up pulling a stupid face. ;-)

Shame about Wigan (just the wrong choice) but good to have another Red on board.

I had no choice, yes, heard this before. Long story re: Salford and family ;-) Short version - petty.

oh go on, give us the long (not to long though) version.

At least you will be able to appreciate the problems Rugby League has getting media attention in the UK.

When i lived in Manc the people there thought Wigan, Warrington etc. were small villages that played this strange version of football which was a bit like Union. :x

They also thought that Liverpool started just past Irlam.

Nobodies perfect Chip. You've got the Easts part right which is good enough!

Massive AB fan too so that evens out following the rags

Fair enough mate  Happy my sarcasm meter was working.

The long version is for another day Wireman though yes, I have a full appreciation of the difficulties rugby league faces in the UK especially when based there for 18 months. It's belittled more often than not in football made towns and is seen simply as the ugly step child. It is what it is.

The man follows Wigan and United, that's almost enough to forgive the Roosters love. :p

I'll do a deal with you, i'll do the ragging on the Pie munching Wigan part, and i'll leave you to do some Rooster bashing.

He should be safe in here though!! :D

Anyways...

United have sold Gibson to Everton for about a million.

So thats another midfielder down. He was allowed to leave when Scholes came back.

Morrison has rejected a contract extension but negotiations are on going, as they are with Pogba. Why kids with huge potential but no track record think they can hold a club to ransom i doin't know. Agents have a lot to answer for.

Shoulda done what we did and got some from Barcelona. There's just no possible scenario where that can end badly...
