 how did you qualify for europe again???

Fair play award...

f**king joke of a club.... and you idiots actually thought you had a chance of landing Ronaldinho... f**king dreamers....

Yep, Fair Play award. Actually we were the sixth fairest team in the league, but the other five had already qualified for European competitions. When you're City you learn to take every little victory you can.

If you think you'll get me wound up by playing the "little brother Citeh" card, best of luck. I know you think that Liverpool (or is it Leeds or Arsenal or Chelsea is this year?) is your biggest rival and you don't give a f**k about City. And while you continue to think that way, we'll keep beating you.

Enjoy your success, because once you lose Whiskeynose and "CR7" (lol) the dream will be over.

Oh and really Spurs are the last team to complain... funny how Grande Ramos signed in the minutes following the sacking of Martin Jol. Can't tell me that wasn't planned in advance.

I know this must be a tad embarrassing for you Twizzle, so I won't hold it against you if you quietly sneak back to the Spurs thread and pretend this never happened.

lol,

you know what happens when you assume guys

has nothing to do with an article in the Sun,

the information came from an article posted on a website after an interview with Fergie, public access has been removed till the matter is investigated

you guys shouldn't take too much notice of what you read in the English media

Twizzle and his sources at it again?

Fergie denied any knowledge of it in an on-camera interview with Sky Sports, the quotes didn't even sound like him and apparently they came from a Norwegian newspaper, why would Fergie break this news to them and nobody else?

Stop clutching at straws/

you're almost there Jay

it was a Norwegian Website, not a newspaper

of course he is going to deny it, what else did you expect him to do ?

and you can tell what he sounds like from a media outlet, now thats taking it a bit far

I understand your loyalty to your team Jay, but I am not making this up and we'll see who is the well informed one at the end of all this

have a nice day

So let me get this right: you're saying that Fergie made the comment to a media outlet and then denied it later.

And why the bloody hell would he do that?

Until there's some solid proof that he did infact say it then it's innocent until proven guilty.

If you dont like that Twiz & Co then feel free to move to North Korea or somewhere with similar values.

How about the fact that he's never spoken of Berbatov prior to this, and suddenly he's spilling the beans to a Norwegian website, that's not enough to say it doesn't sound like him?

And a Norwegian website... come on, let those straws go, they've suffered enough. Fergie's on camera word that he knew nothing of these quotes that have no audio or video to back them up is enough for for me, call me biased if you must.

And the rules for the Bayern thread?

1. Lucio is the best defender in the world, end of discussion.
2. German football is the best in the world, and only true football fans appreciate it.

Now that we're all enlightened you can stop your trolling and exaggerating :).

Ferguson mystery explained
by Adam Marshall, 22 July 2008

http://www.setantasports.com/en/Spo...ts/sport-space/football/great-britain-locale/
The truth is beginning to emerge over the alleged quotes from Sir Alex Ferguson that provoked a major storm with Tottenham over Dimitar Berbatov.
The Sun claimed an exclusive from the Manchester United boss admitting he saw the Bulgaria striker as an ideal signing for The Red Devils.
It has since emerged that The Sun did not source the interview themselves but took the quotes from a supporters' forum.
And a Norwegian fans' branch has admitted initial responsibility.
"A feather has become 35 hens here," said the branch's webmaster Steinar Madsen to Aftenposten. "It might seem like we are to blame for what has happened.
"We are to blame in the sense of how the interview was presented. Ferguson didn't mention the name Berbatov when he was interviewed by us.
"I would call it a misunderstanding. It was tricky conditions for the interview.
"As journalists, you have probably experienced this yourself, how it is to listen to the tape afterwards.
"That can cause problems and Ferguson's accent is not too easy to understand to start with.
"Ferguson confirmed that United had tabled an offer.
"We assumed it was Berbatov he was talking about. We might have taken it too far."
Ferguson insists he has never mentioned Berbatov by name, which he would be entitled to in any case if tabling a firm bid, but Spurs have compiled a dossier they have sent to The FA protesting that United have unsettled the former Bayer Leverkusen striker.
The Red Devils manager's response to Spurs chairman Daniel Levy's criticism was to pass the matter to the club's lawyers after being described as "arrogant and hypocritical".
Meanwhile, chief executive David Gill has reaffirmed that star man Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale despite a concerted attempt from Real Madrid to sign the Portugal forward.

Feel free to apologise Twizzle.

If you are man enough, of course. This will be a big test for you.
