Unfortunately we lost out in the Super Cup to Zenit St Petersburgh (sp?). They were the better team, and obviously wanted it a lot more than we did. For all the stuff that Fergie said before the match, Tevez was the only player who really tried to win it until it was too late.

We really need to get Berbatov before the window closes. We got away with having only Rooney and Tevez last season because of Ronaldo shattering every record within sight, but we can't rely on that every time. Especially as he won't be back for another couple of games, and next up we have Liverpool and Chelsea. We've got about 14 hours to get someone else in.

I didn't know whether to laugh or be pissed off with him for that. It was one of those things done in pure frustration, he just thought 'stuff it' as he watched the ball go over his head and reached up and punched it. Even now I start to laugh when I think about it, but he cost us any real chance to get back into the match in those final minutes and is also suspended for our first CL match.

Stupid move, but hilarious all the same.

I'm disappointed to see Man U get their man. No doubt they unsettled him and the whole conjecture is part of spurs poor start. I heard on setanta this morning that Fergie and Berbatov had held discussions - and at that point the only bid accepted was Man City.

Interesting though.....Chelsea lose on their man, Man U get theirs. They firmed for the title IMO.
