I seriously can't remember when we've managed to put our full strength team on the park this year. Quite amazing where we're sitting considering. I guess the price you pay for not having someone like Essein (apart from having someone like Ronaldo instead) is having the depth to cover injuries and still be in with a chance in all competitions at this stage of the year.

Big game tonight. You always have to turn up against relegation strugglers at the end of the season, because you know they'll throw everything and the kitchen sink at the game. I'll be bunkering down on the couch, probably under a layer of blankets if the last few nights are anything to go by.

FMD, but this mob are doing their absolute best to give me a heart attack at the moment. Does anyone have any idea when Rio will be back, because we bloody well need him?! Here's hoping we can finally put a decent show together against Porto. I'm not holding my breath. I'll take a scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 result.

p.s. How good is Wayne Rooney?

I actually feel good about going into the return leg at 2-2, although the late goal we let in was a shocker. At least now the equation's simple - win and we're in, anything else and we're gone (unless we get a repeat of this morning's game). After all, that is what it should always be about - going out there to win the game. I think we need a challenge like this to get the players minds back on the job.

...and we still don't give a rats what you think.

Keep telling yourself that, while your lot sing about "City going down with a billion in the bank", even in games not involving City.

Despite the fact that:
a) We're not going down
b) We have much, much more than a billion...

Obsessed.

Oh dear, you actually pay any attention to opposition fan taunts? You idiot!

Anyway, I don't think anyone is pretending we are the equal of Barca, but if anyone can come up with a game plan to unseat them, it is 1) Guus, and 2) Sir Alex.

Pfft, as big as the legend of Guus has grown he's still not fit to walk in Fergie's boots.

Sir Alex's game plan shut down Barca last year so well they wouldn't have scored in 10 matches.

Barca are a better attacking team, but whether they are a better team remains to be seen....we may never find out this year. But here's hoping we do because it would be a classic.

Barca still have the same shaky defense. You need to have a world class defence to hold them out. Chel$ki maybe not, but a fully fit United? Yeah, I would back them. But, in a one off game on neutral soil I wouldn't be putting money on them.

Don't Arsenal and United play in the league soon, aswell?
