Bit disappointed with Hindy during the anthem. A lot of players lacked the pride they should be playing with. Each game in that jersey should be played with their full potential.
i thought he did better then kennedy and o'meley who were having a chat and a giggle through both anthems... at least hindy sang

And before the anthems, Hindmarsh was having a chuckel or two with Kimmorley.

i can't beleive you made a thread like this

dead set if your judging on the way anyone has played in that game i feel sorry for you

im sorry flatch but i have to agree with that (ugh)

I know you are madly in love with Matt and all but if you are about to rearrange the '05 team based on one, enthusiasm driven performance in a game of pride, i shake my head at you.

If Mick Witt had played for USA in the Wing position and had a blinder and i started this thread i would be shot down in flames.

He's cool, and he had a great game, i take nothing away, but Witty has played in the halves his whole life, and if he played with as much confidence as Peto did this morning, Witty would be the better half

I agree the poll was meant to be taken in humour.

Muzza is still leading tho ;-)

That's just it.

It is in jest, but it raises a valid point.

Here we have a young kid who doesn't have a halfback's instincts and is playing halfback, and an older kid who does have the instincts and plays on the wing.

The Yanks showed plenty of enthusiasm throughout the entire game, but what they really need is professionalism. Flatch is right in saying there were a few tubs of lard there, but the same deal was with the Brits until they buckled under and they are slowly gaining ground.

They seemed over the moon just to be playing against the Aussies and busted their arses all night. With that kind of love for the game, a bit of money could go a long way. Rupert Murdoch should throw them a few ten mills, give em some TV and ten years from now they could be something.

Well done to the Yanks, I cheered yas the whole way!

I doubt it. But his always there now. I never thought he was a viable candidate. He did exceptionally well IMO but Iam a bit biased.

Very well said. They were raised playing a different game so adjusting would take quite some time. I also read somewhere that Mason could make it and he would have to bulk up to 175kg or somthing. Give the yanks 10-15 years and if they have the right development and get a few more big name players look out. The quarters was also another factor which didnt allow the Aussies to win because of fitness but by the 4th quarter holes began to appear.
