I wonder where Peterson wants to play :?: :?:

Maybe bennett was trying to find out if Peterson would be available for Aussie selection after playing for the Yanks in that game.

I don't think Petero could understand many things!

Didn't Smith give Petersen a go in the centres for a while this year, and didn't it not work out too well? Didn't get to see the US game over here, but if Sideshow showed all these skills, you would've thought some of them might have showed when he was playing closer to the action in the centres. :-k

Good on him, and good to know what he's capable of, but still best as a winger at Parra for mine.

I have always had more faith in Matt than most :D
Seriously, his work ethic and effort is why i have him in my side everytime, unlike some others.

However in the arguement on whether a more utility style move is on the cards for him, i think it is jumpng the gun a bit. To put it into perspective, Costin had a good game to, but he is no finals half at NRL level either. So to suggest that Matty could do that, may be a bit adventurous.....

I saw the replay for the first time this morning

he actually spent most of the game at half back

he also showed a lot of desire and skill

how good was hindy again, he just keeps on goin'.

If Petersen played in the halves, it would be similar to the Roberts set-up. That is, he wouldn't be the permanent halfback.

Although having said that, he does exhibit the skills, and with proper nurturing could become a decent halfback.

But, having said THAT, with all the young halves in the club already, I'd rather keep him on the wings.

C,mon peoples!!!

I think Sideshow would be the first one to put his hand up and admit he is not an NRL halfback!!

He played OK but if he didn't standout in that side well he may as well give up!!

I know it was 18-0 and I know he played a part in that but the entire game was quite simply a joke!!

Great for the game to get some exposure in the states but thats all!!

Look I don't think anyone is seriously considering it but also not dismissing it entirely either look at some of the halfs in recent seasons

Preston Campbell
Amos Roberts
Jason Kent

all considering wingers before slotting into the 6 or 7 jersey.

He has the skills.

As someone else mentioned, a pin-point accurate kick is a pin-point accurate kick, no matter how good or bad the opposition is.

He's got skills, and he has a sense of what to do. Plus he's talkative and has a great spirit.

But in all seriousness, with Green, Smith, Perenara, Marsh, Morris and even Mateo vying for just two spots, I doubt he'll be put there.

The seppo fullback really impressed me....I think his name was Hollingsworth? In great position all game, safe under the high ball, and knew when to turn and go to ground.
