We really tend to hate the more entertaining/ego personality types don't we? I'd hate to see a competition comprised only of Lockyers and Menzies.

I have never liked Lockyer, always found the way he carried himself incredibly annoying, he seems to lack personality. I prefer the genuine firebrands of the game.

I don't bag all Parra fans. I do bag the ones that constantly voice their opinions of Lyon while deliberately overlooking the facts surrounding his departure.

Lyon left as a result of a traumatic incident, SBW left so he could take up a bigger $ offer overseas, to compare the 2 is just stupid (but why would expect anything different from you?). Lyon went home to his family and played park footy for Wee Waa ffs. I wouldn't blame Parra for Lyon's departure if it wasn't for the tantrum they threw after it happened, trying to make sure the miscarriage information was not spoken of so they could make Lyon look bad.

As much as I hate the Dogs, I don't blame them at all for SBW being a merkin.

Paul Gallen appears to be cleaning up his act of late (apart from the occasional knee, and the constant whinging) but wind the clock back 3 or 4 years and you're looking at arguably the most hated player in the game.

There was a period where he and Bird were the absolute villains of rugby league. Diving, wheel grabbing, pulling stitches, deliberate high shots, window pissing and racist remarks. He had it all.

Hancock was very hard to watch
Every time he got tackled he would kick around like a lunatic.
Not a bad player ... Ultra competitive.

The type of players I can't stand are the ones that carry on like soughts when a decision goes against them. Matthew Ridge and Braith Anasta are the first that come to mind. Also Soward, Ennis, Finch oh, and Chris Walker for his grand final performances alone.

When i saw the title of this thread, Michael Hancock was the first and really only player that came into mind for me. When i watched an old Origin on Chooseday Fox last night, i wanted to put my fist through the TV into his head.
