The Moylan Issue

you think if they were trying to take someone out on purpose they’d choose chad over maloney, Barba or ennis?

for the record, I thought chad was pretty good in 2016, probably his best year in first grade. Whether it was because of his own personal ability or those around him made him look good or both who knows. I don’t really like him or rate him, but I think he probably needs to be in the team for the remainder of this season because it is too late now to be asking someone like Trindall to perform at a level expected in first grade this close to a semi finals series. I think moylan is probably best at fullback.
Well I was just repeating what a player from the Sharks team that night said to me, so I'll take what they say over whatever anyone here thinks any day.
Believe it or not, players have a lot of respect for him.

Unfortunately when Chad is back it’ll be Moylan, Johnson, Chad and Brailey as our spine.

Now Frenz likes that spine, but not the majority on here. But Bomber won’t leave out Chad or Moylan, so this is how it will be.

Well, that is our best spine when all players are actually fit.

I thought Moylan had a good game against the Titans but he will be crucified by this forum if he is picked at FB. If you have a bad game, drop the ball, don’t catch the ball, don’t see an attacking opportunity or be the last man to try and stop a flying winger, and fail with a turnstile attempt. Keep him away from FB it’s a confidence killer.

If Moylan was on the open market what do you think he gets? Reports have him currently on 900. I can't see another club giving him half of that. If Foran is getting offers around 400k I think that is the market for Moyza and even then I don't think I do it.

Clubs would pay overs so his price is distorted.
The bottom 4 or 5 would be interested.

With a sponsorship from 3M, they make great sticky tape.

Did any of "youse" see the article on Sunny Boy Dubyah in last Sundays paper.

Apparently someone has "lent" him a $300,000 dollar car to drive around in while he is at the Rorters. A Damlier I think it was. The article I read said it had nothing to do with Uncle Nick but someone else.

It stated he had a choice of three cars to have 'lent' to him.

You just gotta lurve some of the little NRL things that go down.

That was easy. Shut a dozen tards up with one 12 word sentence.

The funny thing is the cards kept on bringing up pressure situations Chad was in while trying to argue he's not a pressure player.

if Bellamy and the storm thought townsend was their biggest threat in the grand final it’s no wonder we won.

believe it or not a lot of players not necessarily sharks and ex players can’t believe he is still an automatic selection in first grade.

Never said he was the biggest threat, that's what you tried to perpetrate, and I didn't bite.
Maybe they were just trying to take out one of the play makers to upset the balance of the team and saw Chad as the easiest target. Maybe they tried to take him out so it made Jimmy play a different game. Who knows.
The fact is they tried to take him out twice, and both times it resulted in helping us gain the points to win.
I feel that people on here spend way too much time focusing on individual players instead of looking at the team as a whole, and the surrounds that go with it.
It is all about getting the balance of the team right, and getting them all to gel and move in the same direction.
The 2016 team had it. This team we have now is very close to having it, but as most know the balance is off in our defence.
In that regard we don't have as much teamwork going on, but I have seen improvement. Duges on the left is now keeping that side balanced, the right side was more balanced in defence with Nikora there, hopefully Talak improves, Jesse and Ronaldo are dictated by movements of the players inside them, SJ's defence has been superb.
Anyway this thread is about Moylan, personally I think for the better balance of the team he has to be playing fullback. His calling out in defence being the main plus over Kennedy, I do dig young Will as a player though.

He's been fine in a bog average team tonight, the anti-Moylan idiocy in here is embarrassing as f**k.. the team's a rabble tonight, got five guys doing head down hit ups and a bunch of confused flat footed back ups looking to be told what to do, and Moylan a fullback/five-eighth with very little support is somehow the target of the forum?
