Ive only seen the young ones years ago. I will have to try and see some of those, do they have them on DVD??? Which would you recomend to try first?

There are only 2 seasons of the office and for the 2nd one to truely make sense (there are a lot of tie ins) make sure you get the first one first so you get all the jokes and follow the story properly. It is HIGHLY recomended by me.

I've got so far 2 series on DVD. No idea how many there are! I'd go with the first series DVD. Obviously their early stuff and IMO their best. Ill search around for TO :D

The Young Ones was good but Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson only really perfected their routine when they did "Bottom" a few years later. You can pick up a DVD pack titled "The Young Ones + The Full Bottom" which has all the episodes of both shows on it, which would be well worth acquiring. Some versions also have the other show they did "Filthy, Rich and Catflap" which while not as god as the others is worth watching.
"Bottom" is quite possibly my favourite show ever.

Do you have the "Bottom : Live" DVD's?

Theres 3 o 4 out I think. I've got 3 so far. Very good shit.

How can you not like British Comedy?

Gareth is the Funniest Character. Everyone Knows a Gareth

Of the Recent Stuff, the Office and Black Books are the Best. I haven't seen much Brit Comedy lately, but Believe Nothing had its moments.

Classic - love the show. Have series 1&2 on DVD. The last 2 episodes are screening in NZ shortly. Can't wait.

Gareth: I don't normally do sloppy seconds . . .

(Gareth walks in on Tim and Rachel, getting cosy)
Gareth: How long has this been going on?
Rachel: What?
(He points at them): This!
(Rachel looks embarrassed): A couple of months
Gareth: When were you going to tell me?
(Tim laughs, embarrassed)
Gareth: Well okey, let me ask you now- is there any chance at all of anything happening between you and me while this is going on?
Rachel: What did you have in mind?
(Gareth shrugs): I don't know...... a hand job? But think about it!

The Young Ones is the most completely brilliant series ever made in the UK.

The Office is a distant second though

I got the DVD yesterday of The Christmas Specials - fantastic! A great conclusion to a fantastic series. The making of doco is great as well the two music clips - especially Noel Gallagher in "Freelove Freeway", and the Directors Commentary is a pisser.
