In recent memory I have never seen a better debut, especially for a half. He iced the game in that last play against Penrith to eventually win us the game.

This young man is class.

I reckon that he was a long way before we see Dylan as his best, however I have seen a few comments on this forum and other sites suggesting that the emergence of Shrubb has accelerated his move to the centres or perhaps even a different tangent towards his All Blacks goal.

Interesting times ahead.

Currently his contract status is ..

2021 Averages
Dylan makes 29 tackles a game. 4.3 tackle breaks.
Cody Walker 12.3 TA. 4.5 TB
Jarome Luai 17.9 TA 4.7 TB
Cameron Munster 19.4 TB 7.3
Corey Norman 16.8 TA TB 3.3
Jack Wighton 19.3 TA TB 2.9

My take from this is that Dylan gets a tonne of traffic thrown at him, yet still holds his own.

I haven't listed the rest of the clubs bc they either have injured 5/8ths or still searching for combinations.

So would you.
Twiz has a surprising turn of pace when it is Beer O’Clock and he is stinging for a super dry.

Good hands too. Can carry 4 pints without spilling a drop.

He’d be a shithouse centre though. Spends most of his time drunk.

Wighton is supposed to be a dangerous runner of the ball, and Brown averages more tackle breaks than Wighton...

Didn't know he had an All Blacks goal. Doubt that he would be picked at 10 just yet. He'd make a handy outside centre in the 15 man game.

In his last 40 games DB has 11 try assists. In Shaun Johnson's last 37 games he has 41 try assists. And these guys are on similar money?
its a bit hard to make direct comparisons .... Drown has Moses and Gutho running the show .... Johnson has Townsend and any number of other random fill ins in recent times

Townsend has 32 from 47 games though, so even his stats are far superior. Moses has 43 from 55 games. Gutho 38 from 58. But I think Pou pointed out that Brown had more possessions than Moses last year, maybe even over the last two years. So I dunno but Brown seems to be lacking in this regard.
