Dude, please leave this thread. You're like the kid in the playground who buys 10 packs of footy cards to try and fit in with the cool kids who actually like footy.

Umm... yeah. Whatever you say...

So brilliantly awesome, Guy.

I was dead centre on the barrier and got smashed like you wouldn't believe.

Highlight songs:
- Hurt
- War of the Pigs
- Starf**kers
- Head Like A Whole
- With-a Teeth-ar!
- Terrible Tie

I patted Trent on the head. :)

I was sitting in George St. Maccas at like 1 am and this really really hot girl walked in. She was wearing a NIN t-shirt. I was like, "yeh, CIG"

Way cool. :)

How was AIH? Did they play Wishbone and Cemetary?
They were awesome. The crowd was a little disappointing though, totally uneducated. Wishbone and Cemetery were both played, yup. They played all of In Case We Die except the instrumental, iirc.

Are you really going to NIN again? I doubt they'll change their set list in the slightest!

i got my ticket for the eels lol

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/columns/get-that-out-of-your-mouth/05-08-26.shtml

In case you don't follow the debates on "rockism" and "authenticity" and Ashlee Simpson's "career," here's an update: It is currently deeply uncool to judge music by how it's made or who really made it-- or to expect that the performer nominally attached to the song wrote it, or played on it, or even sang a single note that wasn't fixed by a computer. If you think that a performer with a career and proven talents, like say Bruce Springsteen, isn't playing the same game as, say, Ashlee Simpson-- who's still shorthand for "phony"-- then you're stunted by prejudices that impair your ability to love music.

the rest of the column is pretty boring btw

Really want to go to the Eels but I have no money, i'm shattered really.

Managed to scrape together enough money to see Hot Hot Heat and Spoon on September 14 and 16th so it's all good.

All you Indie fans, if you had to make an Indie compilation, of say, 12 tracks, what would you put on it?
