It's a pointless discussion because it would never happen, but I have no doubt that in the next few years De Gois and Mullen will be as good a combination as any in the comp. I have no doubt that with someone as brilliant as Inglis that they could adapt to his playing style and succeed. Can't say the same for the other two options we have right now...
Any way...back to reality...I'm surprised there has not been more comment around Seymour...good player who could probably do with the benefit of being out of a capital city and being in more of a fishbowl (more eyes on him equal less opportunity for trouble - not that he's really done much bad to start with)...could be the missing piece of the 1-6-7-9 puzzle...
