Pot shots at other posters? I'm pretty sure you said something about "Tim's dribble" for me to supposedly have a pot-shot at you. I'm sure Tim's more than capable of looking after himself, but it's a bit rich coming from you going on about people having shots at others ...Yep...just about got nothing now huh...can't defend Scotty, attacking Rogers doesn't cause a dent because - well...none of us really give a rats about him either...now it's lame pot shots at other posters...bravo.
Let's see if Scotty gets a run this week if Mullen isn't selected for Origin. I hope he actually does - we need the three of them playing to win week-in-week-out...
And to be honest...Tim's rant was dribble. On his basis you can credit all of Scotty's kicks on the wind and the compression levels of the ball.
Karma I can ignore, it's obvious he has serious problems with the club and it's players... but Alex, if you honestly can defend Rogers in the face of Dureau, you're kidding yourself. Dureau has produced far more shining moments and quality games than Rogers.
HAHA. What, in under 20's?
When it comes to knowing about rugby league Timmah, well let's just say you are good at putting up team lists on a forum.
TBH Alex, I thought Big Tims last post was laced with a fair bit of sarcasm given the posts he was responding to. I think he was suggesting others on here were crediting the Broncos win to the weather and not the players abilities.
BTW I agree with your other points.
A fair bit??? Come on, do we need to start the green writing for sarcasm again?
Dureau has produced far more shining moments and quality games than Rogers.
We must have a different definition of "shining moments". Rogers is out of form and can certainly have a shocker on his day, but for impact plays his count would be so far ahead of Dureau's it's laughable.
I understand the argument people make that Dureau has by far and away the better kicking game, has a natural halfbacks game with organising abilities, and that it is more favourable for the team for him to fill those roles and allow Mullo to play 5/8th. I'm not entirely convinced but I appreciate that that's a valid point of view.
But for impact playmaking ability, I'm just staggered you would bother to make a comparison. Rogers can sure stuff up but he also has skills that are up there with the most talented players in the game. Throughout his checkered career he has demonstrated the ability to make regular line-breaks and line break assists out of nothing. And that's just not true about Dureau.
And Karma, if your best insult is about team lists, you've got a lot of ground to make up.
