Went and saw Joey Cape do his acoustic tribute to Tony Sly last night. Was so awesome. Played a lot of Lagwagon and NUFAN stuff, even though it was very emotional, it was a fun night.

I actually went to the show at The Loft on The Gold Coast. Would have liked to go to the Crowbar show but was on the Gold Coast for the weekend.

Sorry to hear Shaggs, was an awesome show mate. First time I had ever seen a guy crowd surfing to acoustic music.

Saw Jugheads, No Fun At All and Black Flag in the gong tonight. Jugheads were so f**king good. Been dying to see joe and the boys and they didn't disappoint! NFAA were actually stunning, was so impressed with everything about their set, sick mix of songs and those scando's are one tight f**king band!

Was disappointed in black flag tho, Greg had a theremin or something and wouldn't leave it alone. As a guitarist his use of feedback is sick so I just saw no need for the theremin effects as well. Decent set but overall they were just flat.

Can't remember what Mike vallely and Greg Ginns other band is called, but they were shit.

Also just out of interest who here has seen The Decline of Western Civilization? Impossible to find even on VHS/Beta and not sure it ever got a dvd release but if you can find a torrent of it then watch it. Absolutely brilliant

f**king aye. Trademark infringement against The dudes who made the band every bit as important as he did.

One of the pioneers but complete merkin! The Flag line up is f**king ace as well, we get Greg, his theremin and Ron. States has Keith, Chuck,Dez,Bill and Egerton, would kill to see them!

There's apparently a box set of all 3 films in the works. God knows when it'll be released.

Ive got a dodgy theee part avi of the original I downloaded and its basically a dodgy laser disc rip but it makes it look all the more down and dirty and DIY.

The segment with Darby Crash is pretty great as well as the X segment. ..but I'm biased there as X are one of my favorite bands ever.
