I went to Hits and Pits in Sydney last week. Mainly went for DBS and Strung Out. DBS were f**king awesome as I expected them to be. Their cover of Raining Blood by Slayer was brilliant. So heavy but so slayer as well. Dan Palmer is a weapon on guitar.

Strung Out were tight as f**k, seriously good set. I must've seen them 15 times now and I never am disappointed. Unwritten Law can get f**ked! What a terrible band, watched 2 songs and that was it for me. Face to Face were decent as well, don't know too much but Trever joined Trent from ODS and Joel from Last Nerve/Jungle Fever, in their sick folk cover act out in the beer garden for some songs. They were as good as anything on stage that night.

Didn't get there til half way through the gig so I missed the first 3-4 bands I think. Overall decent little gig.

At parramatta arent they?

Probably working or down the coast. Putting off seeing them for a while, have seen them 11 times or something.

Yeah they were awesome. Great set list.

Saw them when they played in Bris last week. Terrific show. Played a fantastic setlist, including a few classics at the encore. They played a fair bit from the new album, luckily I really like it.

Not punk but saw Dallas Green at the opera house tonight. Absolutely amazing gig! Sound was amazing and the whole setting really helped with the occasion. First time I've ever been to the opera house and it blew any expectations I had away. Won't hesitate to see another show there if it's the right act.

The guy is incredible. I went and saw City & Colour a couple of years ago, man that guy can sing.

Yeah last time I saw him at the Enmore, which is pretty sweet venue. But man, it had nothing on the Sydney Opera House. The lighting, the sound all were simply stunning. Add to that you had Dallas and just Dallas with a guitar, Harmonica and Piano. Some simply spine tingling moments. Would love for that 1hr45min set get released on DVD.

New madball just dropped and is sick if you're into Hardcore. Think Strung Out and Pennywise are in the studio at the moment as well aren't they.
