went to a couple of shows recently.

The Used & Taking Back Sunday: Pretty good show, The Used were great, played the setlist that you would expect. Taking Back Sunday were decent as well.

You Me At Six: I don't really know them that well. Wassn't that into it, my friend who I went with who loves them said that she wasn't that into it either.

Anberlin: Awesome as always, played a fantastic set on a very emotional night as it was their last Aus tour.

So we get NOFX, Frenzal and Local Resident Failure for the Sydney, Newy and the Gong shows and Melb get Bodyjar. This one gig is better than Soundwave so far haha

Wish it was The Bennies rather than Local Resident Failure, but can't complain about NOFX and Frenzal Rhomb double bill

We get NOFX and The Bennies damn. I like The Bennies but would prefer Frenzal or Bodyjar. Would love a gig with all 3 of those aussie bands playing, that would be awesome. Someone should actually make an aussie punk/ska/hardcote festival. You could have Frenzal, Bodyjar, Living End, The Bennies, The Porkers, Area 7, Nancy Vandal, Amity Affliction, Parkway Drive, etc.

It'll be the must attend event of 1999 with that lineup  Obviously I'd be there with bells on

I am a big fan of all the bands mentioned although don't really know much about you Me At Six. Maybe it was the venue but I went to see Anberlin supported by The Academy Is in Perth and they were awful. Absolutely awful. My brother and I both agreed it was one of the worst gigs either of us had ever been to. Reading this, wishing I had have gone to their Singas show while I was their now.

For something a bit different check out Indonesian punk band Superman is Dead. May not be for everyone.

They must have been off that night. The 2 greatest shows I have ever been to were Anberlin shows.
