The Ricky Stuart myth

Yet many Parra fans, including Loudy, have their hopes pinned firmly on Will Hopoate. The thing is Manly don't just recruit guns from Parra, they take average footy players and turn them into premiership winners. Before you mention Lyon, he's a Wee Waa junior that we bought from St Helens.

You can't blame other clubs for your inability to turn local juniors into premiership winners.

When are you guys making a bid for Tanginoa?

I said average, not below average. Not even the Manly nor Melbourne coaching staff could turn half the current squad into competent 1st graders.

well there we have it from the stuart fans

the current parramatta squad are apparently alone in the history of rugby league in that they are incapable of improvement despite having a super coach

the continuing degradation of performance quality can in no way be attributable to the coach as he is the one factor that apparently, despite his inability to engineer improvement, is beyond criticism

good luck with that guys

What part of the terms: "Injury toll", "big name retirements" and "no recruitment by last coach" do you not f*cking understand????????

No one is saying he is a supercoach. I cannot understand why you prefer Kearney? Besides, who else was available last year?

I love how all the Players who played under Ricky at the Sharks and in the last few origin series are flocking to join him at Parramatta.

Just shows how much respect his players have for him.

And what makes you sure he was chasing anyone from the sharks????

The only blues players we were chasing were tamou and Farah. We have reportably been after Farah for a few years, so no surprises there. Tamou turned us down, just like Dugan turned down the dogs, and ken Edwards turned down the storm. Nothing new here.

We have an extremely weak roster, that can't compete for the full 80. That's the problem with years of mismanagement and poor coaches. We are paying the price. But thankfully, just like souths have turned the corner, we too are looking to do the same. We have resigned promising juniors to long term deals, and brought in some decent players for '14. All we need is stuart to install self belief. If he fails, so be it. We have improved our roster 10 fold, for any other coach willing to put his hand up.

RS to date has done his job. We can't help it if you merkins were expecting a miraculous run to the semis.

Good players follow good coaches. Look how many follow Bennett wherever he goes. Even Cleary dragged a few across to Penrith. Ricky has worked with dozens of players due to his involvement with origin and many of the players he worked with at the Sharks are still going around. Not one of them has put a hand up to go to Parra.

Guarantee if Tim Sheens pops up somewhere else in a year or two, some of the guys who've played under him would pop up at his new club as well.

Why is it that no-one has put their neck out to join Ricky?

Although we havnt for guys from his old club we have also resigned guys coincedentilly for the duration of Ricky's contract

Hayne - 2 years
Loko - 2 years
Kenny Edwards - 2 years
Mitch allgood - 2 years
Ryan Morgan - 2 years

That itself shows that they want play under Ricky for the same time he is at eels

And you are correct can not wait until Kearney takes some of his favourite Eels players to the Broncos with him...

Maybe RS doesn't want any players from the sharks. Surely that can't be too hard to understand. Did foran follow hasler???? RS hasn't coached at the sharks since 2010, maybe these players were content at the sharks.

who claimed he was a supercoach? he will most likely be caught out to be bog average next year and 2015 but f**k me if we improve, as a parra fan id take it.

and he obviously isnt beyond criticism, he is getting slammed left right and centre. The part in bold is probably the closest thing you typed to being right.
