The Ricky Stuart myth

I am. However, with the best roster in the comp according to you lot, we should have had the minor premiership sewn up back in June if Kearney was still coach.

Have the Eels gone better, or worse this year under Ricky Stuart? Anyone have their win/loss record for the same point in the season, this year to last?

They had won 5 games at this time last season and finished with 6 wins.

This year they've got 4 wins. Broncos, Storm, Dragons, Knights to finish out the season so at best they'll equal their record last season

Amazing what can happen when u get your best player back.
I think you meant to say amazing what can happen when you play a team going just as bad as you.

It says it all that Parra went into the game as favourites

And we were not going to win ever again under Sticky, right?

You go around in circles. First we have the best squad in the NRL, and we'd be top 4 with Furner, Griffin or Elliot, and minor premiers with Kearney. Then we have the worst squad ever, and it's all Sticky's fault that Kearney couldnt buy anyone apart from Carl Webb and Chris Walker. Now we were dead certs to win?

:lol::lol::lol: @ your patheticness.

I don't think anyone has said any of the above. Again, I think that's the dementia kicking in. What we have said, ad nauseum I might add, is that Ricky is a rubbish coach.

And yes you are going to win under Sticky, you will win the wooden spoon, again.

Congrats to Sticky for winning another wonderful piece of crockery for the Eels. They couldn't have done it without him.

Anyone who has bagged Parra for signing Sticky is saying that Kearney was better. I know that fact that Kearney failed to replace 3 rep players and a host of other experienced players is difficult to grasp, and that as a result Sticky has less to work with this year than Kearney had. I know you and the other now rapidly disappearing trolls would need about 3 brain transplants to see that Sticky's recruiting is already better than Kearney's.

Its a bigger backflip than ANZ Stadium and the Dogs home game!

If Ricky took on Melbourne as is and fugged it up, I would agree he is a shit coach.

He hasn't had a decent side since the Roosters.

He had a solid side at Cronulla that lacked the attacking flair of Melbourne or Manly - yet won as many games in the MP. That was a pretty good effort.

At the Roosters he had a mid table side plus Freddy, Mozza and the emerging Mini. Yet Fletcher, Crocker, Flannery, Hegarty, Finch, Wing, et-al became long term rep players under him. Hayne and Mannah aside, he has nowhere near the talent at his disposal now, and Sandow's off field problems dont help. Puting the broom through the place was the best thing that could happen to us. I see no clubs lining up to take the leftovers either.

He left the Roosters and the Sharks in worse states than he found them. It would be hard to do at Parra, but I'm backing him in

Who cares what you f*cking think you wally? Our recruitment for next year automatically makes you a liar

You think Kearney was a supercoach

Bennett left both Brisbane and Saints in a worse position than when he found them too. I dont see you crapping on with your disjointed paranoia against Knights fans lol!

I think you'll find every post I've ever made regarding Kearney would indicate the opposite but do carry on with your delusions.

Your best signing next year is Will Hopoate, and Kearney was the one that signed him you numbskull

Sticky's crowning achievement might be Nathan Peats, but one has to wonder what sort of coin they're throwing at him, considering he thinks Corey Norman is worth half a mil! Oh and who could forget the brilliant decision to re-sign Willie Tonga, he should be good for 6 games over the next 5 years

You might jag 15th next year, depending on whether the Tigs get their shit together

But he did play... I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here...

You could just as easily say the Tigpies would've won by 50 if Farah or Woods played.

Or that the Eels may have won a couple more games if Sticky didn't keep picking Ben Roberts

My point is that it shows how much he adds to our side and that the original post you quoted was right in the first place

Yeah heaps, you barely scraped by a side doing just as bad as you without their two best players.

The true test of the Hayne influence will be when you play Melbourne in two weeks :sarcasm:

I think all that any Parra fans have said is that he's better than Kearney.

That fact that you and the other dud chromesome carriers perfer Kearney speaks volumes.

I get Always Tard's obsession. Seeing Sticky struggle with a team of reggies takes away the pain of watching a potential top 4 squad gradually leak to Kogarah, while David "Job For Life" Furner's game plan aims at having the most kickoffs.

Neither Parra, nor Sticky, has ever been as sh*t as that.

Face it, you are butthurt that the Raiders big bid for Sticky, including that gun squad, failed because he preferred to rebuld a wooden spoon club with a stack of players leaving!

Only 29 more losses before Furner's contract is threatened. Unless you get your dream coach Kearney!
WTF are you talking about now, you silly old goat? Again, name a raiders fan happy with Furner and the situation with Furner? Furner & Stuart are similar, except for one thing, Dave doesn't have the wooden spoon tucked under his arm or your mouth around his schlong.

Well Ricky Stuart is a last start winner, unlike David "64 point flogging" Furner, Michael "I cant coach unless GI is playing" Maguire, and the coach you all bone up on because you think he is Jack Gibson and Justin Bieber combined - you beloved supercoach Steven Kearney :lol:
You've got a little bit of an obsession with Dave Furner going there ole mate. Fact: Josh Papalli stayed at the raiders under Dave the Dud rather than risk his career under Ricky 'career destroyer' Stuart.

Always Tard goes very very quiet when David "68-4" Furner gets mentioned :lol:
Well I was wrong. It's not Dave you're obsessed with its me.
