However, I got a little panicky today. We spend so long in the off-season waiting for footy season and I can't believe we might have only two weeks left of it.

God damn Eels. Pretty much make or break against the Roosters now. Really need to win this. Out of the 8 again for now...

Before this game I was thinking we could just about get through on 28 if the Eels and Broncos bomb out a bit, but no chance now. Eels finish with the Knights and Raiders - the Knights wont be easy, but the Raiders is an almost certain 2 points. They could potentially go all the way to 32 points now...

I've got a really bad feeling that the Warriors lose tomorrow and that's season over. We could easily crumble and lose the last three, when we really need to win all of them now.

The Warriors could lose tomorrow and still scrape in to the 8 with wins over the Titans and the Panthers. I predict that all eyes will be on the Cowboys v Manly game on Saturday night.

I think if we can win 2 from 3 we will be through. The problem is we have been a more consistent team the past 3 months ie winning all but one of our 'should win' games and losing all of our 'should lose' games. Problem now is that we need 2 wins but only one of them is 'should win' based on current form/ladder. We need to pull out something unpredictable against the chooks or panthers and I'm not sure we have that in us anymore.

At least our team is back to full strength with Konnie back. No excuses, just need to go out there and get the job done. We wouldn't get far in the finals if we couldn't beat the Roosters in Auckland or the Panthers. Those would be fairly "along the way" games in the finals, not even taking on the top tier contenders.

I really think we are a better team this year, and think we will really show up on Sunday. I just hope it will be enough.

Yeah, its still in our hands. If we aren't there, we don't deserve to be. Even if we are there, we'll be making up the numbers, I think.

We might make the 8 - but I can equally see us losing all 3 games... if we make the 8, we could fluke a win, but just not up to it imo
