I have got a feeling that before the Board signed off on SF being the head coach, SF had to pass the litmus test and get a clear indication from Hunt that he would stay on at the Dragons and not seek an early release. That is my feeling.

Only takes 1 injury as he is ageing and that is a lot of our salary on the sidelines. In reality he hasn’t led us to the finals and we need a complete rebuild next year to be a contender again in 2025.

If this is a "genuine request", it is no use having someone in the team who isn't wanting to be with the club. Just piss him off and seek compensation.
if it is the Bulldogs going for him, they can get nicked. If any negotiations have taken place get that club fined. The sooner this is sorted, the better.

Hunt might be the best player in our team but he can also be the dumbest and wherever he ends up won't win him a premiership.
