Hope your right, he’s terrible.Regardless of the pending court case, I am not convinced that Amone is in the long term plans of our new coach.

I think the Gong has got more things going for it lifestyle wise than Penriff any day.Would be nice but why would he go from the king of the castle to the cellar? Uproot his family probably to Wollongong, our last marque signing was Bunt and look at that. Just my two bobs worth but it doesn’t matter how good the 1/2 and 5/8 are if the forwards are not making space. Ours don’t, priority is props IMO.
Their problem is they don't know any better , I know where Id rather be , along the coastline beaches , than stuck in the middle of nowhere on a hot day .......I think the Gong has got more things going for it lifestyle wise than Penriff any day.
If anyone can bring the best out of Amone it is Flanagan. To me Junior is like the genie still in the bottle, yet to be set free. Griffin killed his natural instinct by trying to turn him from a running halve to a play making one, instead of giving him free rein. I now see Amones future in the centres or perhaps lock once he strengthens his defense. Hope our next defense coach is also a guru in his field.Regardless of the pending court case, I am not convinced that Amone is in the long term plans of our new coach.
Lachlan Lam
Yeh the ESL may well be a better mountain to mine than the NRL which is rather a bare cupboard with all the best players snapped up while our FO slept. A couple of big bopper props who can tackle , a half (Lachlan Lam) and a hooker so we can pi$$ off Hunt whose retention will cause further friction among the players and instability within the club. Surely you see this happening Flanno. But my guess is that he will go for a prop or two from the ESL.
Flanagan would want a strong partner in the halves for Kyle. I think Luai and Kyle would be a good pairing and so, would welcome this deal.Would be nice but why would he go from the king of the castle to the cellar? If Lomax is to be our fullback, Tracey woud make a great replacement in the centers.Rumour today Tracey wants a release from Sharks
Cronulla knocked him back but he can negotiate with clubs for 25 being us.
I would like him next year but we will see
is this another Ben Hunt media hysteria?
This is so true. We need to sell this aspect of the club much better than we do at the moment. Wonderful place to live for a young man. Great beaches, cafes, restaurants, and very reasonable cost of living.I think the Gong has got more things going for it lifestyle wise than Penriff any day.
You mustn't have watched Lam when he was in the NRL. A selfish player is exactly what he is. Doesn't like to pass when it's necessary, prefers the glory play. Can he grow? Yes. But he's been in super league for one year and the selfish habits he's learned over time I doubt have been undone. Your distaste for Hunt is understandable, but sometimes the claims that go along with it are inaccurate
I'll have him. Nippy, good footwork, vision, ball skills and an unselfish player . Five assets C/Hunt lacks.
It was his unselfish play in the clip that tweaked my attention. There are many occasions when he could have gone for self glory, but passed to the man in a better position to score.selfish habits he's learned over time I doubt have been undone.
better university , more value in real estate (particularly northern beach area ) cleaner air ( only one blast furnace operating! ) and as close to Sydney CBD as Penrith . No competition really ( and I live in Sydney)This is so true. We need to sell this aspect of the club much better than we do at the moment. Wonderful place to live for a young man. There are a few players we still want to move on for next year.Rumour today Tracey wants a release from Sharks

Do any other clubs even know Paul Turner exists? We sign this guy from wherever he was, pay him a good wage, use him for one match and then we try to move him on - just like Burgess, Woods, McCullogh, Mbye, absolute nothing signings made by the likes of Haran and Griffin who have no right meddling with our roster. Just picking the lowest hanging fruit and keeping their role as long as they have/did is atrocious from our demotivated club. There are a few players we still want to move on for next year.
Should be offering them Max Feagai as a like for like swap for 2024.
Better still, throw in Paul Turner as a utility styled player as well.
as you said turner was a real knee jerk signing after amones incident but to sign the guy for 2 years just made it so much worseDo any other clubs even know Paul Turner exists? I’m sure other clubs know Feagai and they’d have to be very desperate and short on backs to sign him up based on his failings in first grade. Stuck with him. Handy as a third backup for first grade at best. Sorry to be frank.
I’d rather forfeit than sign anymore duds.
