I have canned the veritable bejesus out of the lad but my soul intention as a passionate Dragons fan and a fellow QLDER was merely to put a bit of wind up him a fire up him to play better thats all! I love the guy and am RAPT that hes here! we havent had a genuine half since Goldy waaay back so I hope like any new move he can just adjust to Sydney and open up to the friendships more there and settle in, Id be devastated if he left hes dome magic for us and then had a bad patch, lifes cyclic! for the downs then the UPS come.! stick to it Benny youre very appreciated!

Who knows. He needs to finish this season first, keep his head in the game as best he can, and then think about what he does next. In my very limited experience with such matters if a bloke is unhappy nine times out of 10 its issues other than work. If he is unhappy, best to let him go.

Hunt played bench hooker before that and has roved between the 2 positions for some time. Signing with us well..he had to start planning for the future especially in the halves. And he did a pretty good at hooker for brisbane and in rep. I will still have him as a Dragons half moving forward..just needs some direction (coaching).
And re Mickey Lane's deleted thread I dont buy that for 1 minute and call it as fake news and a covenient timing rumour. Then again who knows and who would be surprised with anything in rugby league they way its run and administered...especially at our club.

Very very strong word from close sources of the player stating that Ben Hunt met w management this week to say that he's failed to settle into Sydney and finding it very hard and affecting his form...

Where it goes from here its anyones guess but take it as read he's approached management to discuss getting out of the remaining 4 years of his contract !! I

What Hunt (and others in the team) needs is better quality coach.
That will take the pressure off the individual players and allow them to function properly.
