Has anyone found out who the Qld player was that has been accused of rape? That rumour came out a few weeks ago and resurfaced last week and it is still unknown. Do you think this player is part of Origin and the name won't be released till after the series? Pretty weird how that has gone quiet and others less serious are out in the papers naming and shaming asap?

Was thinking the same.

I guess from the other end it would make sense if Storm were finally done with his injuries.

I want to believe in Sloan - think he has made the improvements we want to see from him - but it’s hard to find a fan or coach entirely convinced and potentially could be a great winger if a match winner could be sought. We had a red hot crack at turuva with talk he could get the 1.

if we could get Nelson and Paps in from storm I’d be stoked. Fat chance

If storm are looking at releasing him due to injuries i would be very skeptical as to why and what are the long term issues they see, you wouldn't want him to end up as a Nathan Long.
Re Sloan i have been a critic of his, even before he played 1st grade re his defence, granted it has improved but he still has other issues as well, last week we had 3 half breaks and he was nowhere in support of RFM or Luc and i don't see Sloan as a winger, we will go backwards with his hitups on the 1st or 2nd tackle..
I would be stoked as well if we got both of them, but very highly unlikely..
