Oh, did I say that I hate the Bulldogs. I despise them and thank goodness I won't be seeing them again this year. The lying bastards.
Give JAC a 1 year contract with an option on the condition of weekly drug tests
did flanno have anything to do with JAC when he was at cronulla ( before tigers storm)I don't mind us signing JAC for two years with a two year option in our favour.
BUT.........
He must have ultra strict performance clauses similar to Dugan, his salary must be performance related and he has to agree that if he damages the Dragon's brand he is sacked with no payout. The only time Dugan behaved semi reasonably in his career was his four years with us because he knew he he could be sacked.
I think Flanno would be good for JAC in terms of his developing him as a human being.
But it depends whether Flanno wants to risk JAC's bad behaviour impacted Valentine Holmes' performance which is important for our 2025 plans.
In my opinion didn't set the world on fire at souths so just how much potential does he have. Plus how good will he be after injury,, maybe a train and trial contractI heard a rumour that Saints are in for Lachlan Illias but not offering too much coin so will be a cheapy. There is still a lot to work on but Saints are keen if they can get him for 300-400 a season.
How true it is I am not sure but it is from someone who has connections with Braith who is Lachlan's manager.

O’Sullivan over Boyd every day of the week IMO. Boyd is too timidYes, it'll be hard to land a 7. We're probably looking at an O'Sullivan or Tannah Boyd.
I would imagine some of the idea to letting Hunt leave, will be forward paying some of his wage against our current players for 2025. It will leave more in the 2026 kitty to go hard at top-drawer half.
Not sure how much of the cap you can pre-pay, but it has been done before by the Knights
It's a no brainer imo, Cook could be pushing it with Flanno also.I heard a rumour that Saints are in for Lachlan Illias but not offering too much coin so will be a cheapy. There is still a lot to work on but Saints are keen if they can get him for 300-400 a season.

So much this!O’Sullivan over Boyd every day of the week IMO. Boyd is too timid
I reckon O'Sullivan would be a better option at half paired with Tyran Wishart would be a good combo imo and Hunts' money would probably cover both...At the price you mention, I would take him. On the proviso that his surgery went well and all is okay.
Souths thought that Ilias had great potential allowing him to slot into Adam Reynolds half back position in 2022 so he must have some upside to him. I think trying to emulate the Adam Reynolds way of playing put too much pressure on him. I can remember when we played them in 2022 that he got hooked from the game by Demetriou when we were running all over the Bunnies. I don't think he really recovered from that incident.I like the thought of Ilias.
didn’t get a fair crack at Souths, he was the “halfback” but never got the chance to actually run the team. Think there’s a good player in their when actually allowed to play the natural halfback role.
