Interesting MS, if they are truly independent of the Storm Club, they should easily follow him to his new club... especially Greyhound Racing NSW which would be more valid if Paps was playing away from Melbourne.

I wonder which set of Storm books this info come from.

To me, it would be very surprising if Gutho doesn't leave Parra now. He's got one year left on a big money deal, but is going to be moved from fullback to play some ambiguous position in the middle of the field. Very possible he ends up on the bench. Then his value plummets significantly for his next deal which is only 12 months away. Or he can take a high paying contract, for an extra year or two on top of 2025, and play in his preferred position. He would be insane not to leave Parramatta before next season

i have to agree, i assume hes weighing up his love for parra vs prolonging his career

I cant help but think that Gutho is not coming, its been long enough, we all know that if a deal needed to be done it would have by now, his manager wouldn't be mucking around. Same as Hunt getting tapped up by another team. Maybe they are not allowed to say anything until Nov 1. It really is a stressful period not having any clue as to what is going on, wish they had a trade period like the AFL.

Cant see Gutho staying at Eels
They signed the youngster from the Eels to be their No 1
Now there is talk that Paps is also on their Radar ..wtf
Moses then quoted saying he would consider the Captaincy for next season if it came up
Makes , the current skipper, Gutho , feel really "loved" doesnt it
Has been away on Hols , but back now
Would expect something anyday now

Looks like interest in Hunt is dwindling, must be a real kick in the teeth for Hunt (Suck shit Ass-wipe). His position with Dragons appears untenable but we went through the same crap last year.

If worst comes to worst, and we HAD to keep Hunt, like 'blacksafake', I have always advocated Hunt as a running half.

Remove the captaincy from Hunt, then team will better with Gutho at 1, Kyle at 7, Hunt at 6, Cook9, Sloan right wing.

Kyle becomes the game managing half, predominately first receiver towards the end of attacking sets and Hunt will be playing for a decent contract somewhere in 2026. He'll have no option but to excel with his running game.

That's worst case

I'd prefer he just piss off!

P.S. I'd love to hear some rumours about some quality bookends coming our way. Lodge can't be only one?

You're worries are reasonable but this will be decided over the next week whether he's staying or leaving. The time it's taken is not a concern so far
