I’ve seen him play in the centres a few times. Had him in my SuperCoach side in his debut season he was racking up very solid base stats for me until he got injured. He’s no Mark Gasnier but I’d take he and Wiliame over Aitken and Lafai. On the wing I’m undecided if I’d rather him over Pereira, Rava or Saab. He’s still pretty fast if he can put the injury’s behind him. He’s not our worst ever buy, we are very thin out wide.

Our focus is moving out aitken and Lafai end of this year unless we see an amazing change in perfomance

My gut feeling is both Lafai and aitken will leavr fot OS mid season so we need williame and a jennings to cover for our juniors 2020 and 2021

We have a stack of junior backs coming thru so a player lile Jennings for peanuts makes sense if true as he can play wing and centre and good depth

I agree, there is no one really great on the market, nor do we have the cap. It would be a huge mistake to buy a mid priced pathway blocker. If he’s cheap I’m for it.

I would still be using Saab on the wing , by so doing he would be getting the much needed top grade experience that will help him in the future.

As for Jennings I would place him at center and be booting out either Lafai or Atkins .

Should Lomax not be successful after a month it would then make sense to partner him with the incoming Jennings as our new center pairing - goodbye to both of our current stumbling blocks .

Agree but I’m happy with Wiliame. Wiliame and Jennings looks even better.

In terms of ability, is there much distance between Jennings and Jonus Pearson? No, I didn’t think so either.

He is awful defensively and has dicks for hands, does a good job rucking it out of your own end isn't afraid to have a dig. If he plays more than 5 games your team is struggling big time. Just like in 2018 when he played 10+ for us and we won a spoon.

He is awful defensively and has dicks for hands, does a good job rucking it out of your own end isn't afraid to have a dig. If he plays more than 5 games your team is struggling big time. Just like in 2018 when he played 10+ for us and we won a spoon.

He sounds like he will fit in nicely with our game plan then. he will be rucking it out of our end all game and will never get the ball outside Aitken anyway so he may as well not even have hands.

I'd rather Lafai and Aiken in the centres and he is level pegging with the other two on the wing. Surely young Saab gets a run somewhere??? He looks to have talent or doesn't talent fit in Mary's gameplan???

Should get a run but our coach is renowned for not giving the young blokes a go.

I have watched them, Jennings in the centres is a far worse option. He got absolutely tore to beats in the centres in the lol@50uff$!! trial by a 20's kid. It's funny just after that trial he wasn't named for us in the Bega trial and we played a couple of kids from the 20's instead. Sadly for you guys this might have legs.

Sadly for us Aitken and Lafai were also toweled by their opposite numbers against Souths in the trial. Lafai was eventually moved to the wing, where he played even worse. On one occasion Aitken was put into a yawning gap, and he failed to execute a simple draw and pass under no pressure whatsoever and managed to throw in 3 yards forward and over the touch line. Jennings isn’t great but these two are god awful. It’s a depth signing and rounds out the 30.

The position we are in we don’t have much choice. We are not attracting anyone and need some cheap depth signings. Ramsey and Saab will be ready next year. Aitken, Lafai, Graham and possibly JDB will all be off the books as will Mary so we should have a bit of money to play with. I guess they are looking at 25 year olds or so with a bit of experience that are on their last chances to impress hoping they can squeeze something out of them.

Aitken has hands like magnets . Nothing is leaving his grasp.

Considering K.Sims recurring arm issues, Kerr injury cloud, an aging Graham on his last legs and no JDB - I would have thought any last additions to the squad would have been for another middle forward.

Not sure mate but young John Fonua played both trials for us and is not in the top 30, he looked decent and can play anywhere in the backline maybe they are looking to promote him and are happy to let Jennings go to get him in???


As i said he is a good trainer, always gives 100% and has an excellent carry from his own end just don't except much more.
