Make sure it’s a Mary signed and framed oneI suppose our club could always send the whining sod a Dragons jersey to wipe the tears away ?

No from me.Curtis Scott anybody?????
One of the radio stations picked up on this aswell - he will only be signed as a backup cause in all honesty we need backdepthNo from me.
IF true could this mean the Suli deal has fallen through or having second thoughts
It could be argued that Rav is our only specialist winger and that should be the position we look to add depth- Ramsey is a manufactured winger and my assessment of the Feagais so far is that they probably lack the pace to play there long term. A speedster such as Charlie Staines might be useful or, as Dragonslayer has suggested, a tall winger like Edrick Lee to assist with aerial attack and defence. One of the radio stations picked up on this aswell - he will only be signed as a backup cause in all honesty we need backdepth
If our starting backline for next year is
1. Sloan
2. Mat Feagai
3. Lomax
4. Suli
5. Rava
Other than Mbye and Bird who can play in the backs but are filling other positions our only other backs in our squad are legitimately
- Cody Ramsey
- Max Feagai
So I’m cool with the signing if it is a cheap 1 year incentive based abit like Burgess
But I really really hope we sign a backup dummy half and another first grade prop
Saw the 2022 premiership winners odds were released this week.
Dragons longest odds at $51 behind Tigers at $41.
Betting agencies are saying we are the WORST team in the comp next year even with the additional signings we’ve made.
Bit harsh?
Harsh yeah. We were also the wooden spoon favourites for 2021 and that didn’t happen.Saw the 2022 premiership winners odds were released this week.

I wouldn’t worry too much into it - they only base that off current form and as of now technically we are the worse team in the comp due to our current 8 game loosing streakSaw the 2022 premiership winners odds were released this week.

A lot will depend on the draw especially around SOO time because if you are going to play Penrith, Souths or the Storm that’s when you want it to be.Let's no forget that the club has disgraced itself this year. On and off the field. Players and coaches. The most embarrassing year to be a Dragons fan and that is saying something on the back of McGregor years.
Dragons fans seem to think because 2022 is a new number it will automatically be a better year. The comp has gotten away from us and the signings thus far don't thrust us into the next tier of teams. You can maybe piece together a relatively strong team on paper but then comes injury, suspension and general disrespect for the jersey that even some of 'leaders' show.
Maybe we can wiggle our way closer to the 8 with a bit of hard work, consistency and our fair share of luck but I think if the market is putting us amongst the lowly it is more than fair enough.
The club will have to earn respect back.
We seem to constantly receive a draw that includes most of the previous years finalists , including the eventual trophy holders with their opponents .A lot will depend on the draw especially around SOO time because if you are going to play Penrith, Souths or the Storm that’s when you want it to be.
A kind draw can do a lot to help us that’s for sure.
Great player but a troubled individual, apparently. I’d give him a run with a ‘keep out of trouble’ clause included. No from me.

We do need all the help we can get, however it doesn't always mean playing the "better" teams when they are reduced in strength at SOO time or when they have several star players injured or suspended, we need the help of the coaches to get our players themselves to play better footy. It's no use us having a big crack at the top teams and winning a few when we get done by the other also rans.A lot will depend on the draw especially around SOO time because if you are going to play Penrith, Souths or the Storm that’s when you want it to be.

If we are going for Curtis Scott does that mean the Suli deal is off the table ? OR Lomax is going ? This is the rumours thread afterall !
What’s it take for these guys to develop some common sense? I’d be a league playing Trappist monk for the money they get paid. Play well, get set up financially. In this sport there’s a long retirement when you can party and be a punchy drunk if you must. Also a no from me. The club doesn’t need more centres & need to avoid players with off-field concerns. That might be harsh, but it’s needed for recruitment & retention.
