Trouble is Fui misses 2 tackles in 4 attempts.

Actually it's less than 1 in 10 misses per game - Tackle Efficiency 91.8%, not great but nowhere near the worst for us. He hits nice and hard too. His problem though going into 2022, like McGuire and Sims, is his judiciary record. Expect long stints on the sideline for those three no matter how minor or accidental the incidents. Lucky we have not just depth but better options right from the start.

it’s all about the influencers in the club , guys like Gus and Laundy are big players and know how to pull in big players - also Trent has a good reputation as a players coach .. why on earth would a player go to the Bulldogs after their recent seasons? Remembering Matt Burton is on $450k a season and Paul Vaughan on $500k all unders in my books.. big personalities and coaches pull in big players … we have neither … up until now a ghost of a Chairman in Gordon and a derailed coach in Griffith …..

Bulldogs look like the are recruiting for short term success...although missing key positions in the spine...they will have Cap trouble ...already trying to offload players....

Previously under the former regime we would have lost the bulk of the juniors as they were never given a pathway... I like the current recruiting...we have so far held onto the promising juniors and supplementing them with short Term deal experienced players Ala Woods/Burgess etc...

First time in years we start to correct the boat after 8 years of mediocrity....plenty to look forward to..

I’m happy with the recruiting at the moment under the circumstances. By all reports from those on here that know, the right juniors are being signed with a pathway to the nrl.
This along with the good external recruitment should see the team improving considerably in the next couple of years.
