Previously under the former regime we would have lost the bulk of the juniors as they were never given a pathway... I like the current recruiting...we have so far held onto the promising juniors and supplementing them with short Term deal experienced players Ala Woods/Burgess etc...

First time in years we start to correct the boat after 8 years of mediocrity....plenty to look forward to..

We have recruited well IMO. Moga goes alright if they can keep him on the field and Mbye will be solid. Our recruits are massive improvements on players like Ellis, Blacker, Norman, WIlliame.

Welcome back GS!- the 37 likes you received for your well balanced and insightful comment speaks volumes for the esteem in which you are held.

It's funny what a difference a few months makes- a lack of size in the club's middle and edge forwards was a common complaint back then and now through some astute recruiting, I see our pigs, mature and developmental, as being an area of strength for us.

The one concern I have is our wingers. Only one specialist in Rava- the Feagais with their injuries to date are yet to prove themselves for mine, while Moga- if he is to be considered for a wing spot- has to overcome his medical history. Hopefully, the club's medical staff can reprise the great job they've done with Bird.

thank you @redandwhite4evr . Agree re your comments...I like the look of our forwards and backs ...much more balanced squad...building nicely....hopefully we can jag a spot in the 8 next year.

Hopefully a better year on the paddock will mean that this place is not so argumentative and a lot less vitriolic and that the imbeciles who targeted you have worked out you are one of the nice guys and non combative people deserve much better.

A big year coming up and looking forward to discussing it with you.

Thank you for your kind words @Old Timer . Agree with your comments ...hopefully next year will see us being more competitive ...dependent on injuries/suspensions etc...although our squad depth will be far better.
