I think you will find Webb wasnt at the club back then not sure about Haran we had Cam Mcinness at the time Cowboys paid big money for him to move which we couldnt match

Old Phil (he's fond of calling others "old" in his column so I'll return the epithet) isn't called Editor at Large for no reason. It's a journalistic term which means he doesn't have any day to day responsibility for the content of the paper like a normal editor and can semi regularly contribute what he likes. Today was obviously another slow news day for him and he had space to fill. If he had a brain and thought about whether this rumour had any substance, he would conclude that Hunt will be 33 and off contract at the Dragons at the end of 2023 and may not be there when Munster is available to join in 2024-and therefore even if they had a relationship- the move is unlikely to happen.
The journalistic motto of don't let the facts get in the way of a good story is still alive and well.
