Where will the new coach of the Eels put Lomax in the team? Will the new coach actually want him?

Bennett hasn't signed anything I don't think yet. He is known to change his mind at the last minute so if Parra offer the world, he might go to the Eels. He will be able to turn the team around for sure and get them playing finals footy, like he has done with all of the other clubs (Dolphins will play finals this year) he has coached.

He has said he is committed to Souths and knocked back Parra just as recent as the weekend

I know the one of the trio not producing on those stats and it aint JDB or Lawrie. Adding Eisenhuth and Fataila-Mariner, both not producing on the final two stats.

We also need to scout a clever young half back that is stuck behind another performing top grader . Missed the trio of Mitchell Woods, Ethan Sanders and 18s City half Toby Rodwell who used to be with us. He does tho have Sam Walker ahead of him at the Chooks so what chance of bringing him home too. Then again we have a couple of our own junior halfs in Ashton Ward, Brandon Tikinau, Shadi Hammoud and Kade Reed, who are all developing nicely..

Mitchell Woods is on a long term Dogs contract so he is out of the equation while Ethan Sanders is off the market too as is Toby Rodwell who used to be with us. Taylan May was the same guy the NRL suspended his suspension so he can play finals and can serve the following year. How did that work out for you NRL? Now he is up for domestic violence.

I suspected that Trent Barrett may be in the frame long term at Parra hence why Zac may have gone there. Or was probably touted as Brad Arthurs replacement if he fails. Both Brett and Zac are Temora boys. I have a feeling Mary may be joining them. If that is the case Zac will be stoked.

If Baz gets Parra up to close to the 8 which is a good chance when Moses returns then, they may extend him a few years. Whether Baz is a good coach we will find out. 3rd and final chance I feel.

Jeremy Marshall-King will end up at the Tigers. Pretty straight forward one that will be seeing his brother is the head coach. Api is due to retire in a couple of years or so which is perfect timing.

Saints fans should not get their hopes up for that one that is for sure as it is a case of the Manager using Saints to get his price up for the Tigers to match.

Api’s contract expires at the Tigers at the end of 2026. I’m not sure Jeremy would want to play second fiddle for a couple of years. He is a genuine first choice hooker, not a bench one.

Yes, he might stay up in sunny Queensland. Probably very happy and settled in the area. Formed some good bonds with the players and still unfinished business up that way under Woolf.
