I don't think their spot is the one we're auditioning for.
For me, it's us and the Panthers for 8th spot. If the Titans win 3, they're very likely 7th unless the Broncos continue to shit the bed, and then they'll be facing an elimination game in Brisbane. Maybe a good result for them to not have to travel.
If we'd lost on Saturday night it would've been pretty much fat lady's first few bars. But as it stands, if either us or the Panthers win 3, the Tigers probably have to win 4 or belt someone (us or Penrith would work). Manly are probably gone, they'd have to win 4 as well and have a whole host of results go for them.
The way I see it, it's either us or Penrith playing the Dogs. I think I'd prefer that to the Broncos, presuming they find some late season form.
And yeah, as JJ says - it's no great celebration to finish 8th (9th) anyway. Unless we win in week one. If we're 8th and out, it's a shit season. Look at the Raiders - can anyone say they're a better roster than us? Not in my opinion. They're just better coached and play a brand that shit I wish we could. I'd love to see us hump the Bunnies like they did.
