Well we have pretty much smashed both grand finalists and shown we are a class above.

We quite possibly have one of the best forwards packs, not in just this years competition, but in the last 10 years. The attacking prowess, and sheer razzle dazzle of our backline means we can score from anywher eon the field, at any time of the game.

The way the finals works, it doesnt always mean the best teams are in the grand final (EG- When the Sharks missed out in 99) , but somewhere down the line, whether its the last week in September or the first week in October, everyone knows we will be there or there abouts.

Well Im confident we will go good this year. We beat Melbourne, could of been by more but we dropped the ball nearly a dozen times. Easy to fix. Melbourne were on fire last week, everyone is blowing over how they will win. Well I think the Sharks just showed how to play against the Storm. Slater was scared and went missing, Folao was dangerous but was taken care of. The Storm cant stand the way the Sharks play and they are easily frustrated.
Sharks beat Melbourne and Manly, away. Stuarts coaching and passion has bought a new steal to the club.
The Sharks will be a MAJOR threat to the 08 crown.

Will be interesting to see how that Karl Flinga (i think thats his name??) goes when he gets into 1st grade. He has had a lot of hype about him and if he makes a big impact in 1st grade he could give them that edge. The loss of Williams will really hurt though, he is a very good player.

Still way to early to be calling premiership, but they do have a tough side. If they stay injury free they should cause some headaches. Having said that Manly were shocking and Melbourne were well below their best, but I think Cronulla have plenty of improvement in them too and will be oozing with confidence at the moment.
