Not supportive of this deal......I would rather release costigan and another if it's needed.

I beleive our problems like what we experienced in the first 20 against the Dogs are due to the gap that is left by Smith.

I will spew if this is true. The only way it could be considered is if Smith approached the club and not vice versa.

If its driven by the Gasnier situation within the club, then it will f**k up the harmony in the joint in a massive way.

Not for one second do I believe this scenario to be driven by Bennett in order to get Gasnier. Smith is a gun & I'll be filthy if we flicked him. What we've built in the last 18 months has everything to do with winners like him & nothing to do with prima donnas like Mark Gasnier. We have short memories of the frustration of that era for the club if we don't recognise that.

I came across a rumour today from a very very creditable source regarding the future of the coashing staff at the Dragons. I think it will be quite likley that Phil Gould takes on some sort of role in the coaching staff for the dragons with the intent to replace Nathan Brown when his contract expires.
