Dogs made the final due to a ball boy crap rule that the refs decided to make during a crucial part of the game. Then they get another call where they kick the ball into a ref to get a repeat set. Another rule taken advantage of to satisfy the Dogs. Funny how all the players knew about it and had to remind the ref. Take 1 of thoses dud calls out and Parra is in the top 8 and the Dogs finish 1 or 2 wins ahead of Saints. How is that far more superior than the Dragons. And Dogs only played Saints when Price was coach as well so there is 2 gifted points.
The Dogs have no salary cap, players never get citied for fould play, Have the guy leading the NRL at the beck and call and still can't win a Grand Final, and the refs just let them get away with much more than other teams e.g how Tolman was not sinbinned for a professional foul in theGF nobody knows. If they changed to comp to make every team bar the Dogs play with 10 men they would still find a way to lose.

They still gave a brave hard game for 60+ minutes minus Ennis, Kasiano and Hodkinson and Morris on 1 knee and Reynolds popping his shoulder. Yet still put in a great game for 60 minutes IN THE GRAND FINAL.
They also did all this and made it there with more lengthy injuries to several players. Like Kasiano, Pritchard, Morris, Tolman, Perrett, Reynolds, Klemmer, Stanley. All of them missed at least a quarter of the season, some much much more. Hell they also produced the Origin halves and had their back up 7 out in Mbye for 6 weeks.
