He scored a motza of tries with Northern Pride last season as well as kicking a swag of goals to tally 174 points in the season.
Playing for the Cowboys Under 20 NYC team in 2008 he scored 11 tries and kicked 23/35
for 91 points.

And we scored a motza with his 2 year contract that could lead to a footy-lifetime playing for the Eels. It seems Robbo will stay at 9 and the pressure is now on KK and Mortz to deliver every week or else Humble Tom enters at their expense. Is he a 7 or is he Brett Kenny Mach II????

I think he is a stand-off half, but handles fullback just as well. I thought he handled the rise in class very well on Monday. The trick for him now is to do it again. One swallow doesn't make a summer....gulp!!!!
I like the way Tom defends.

Daniel Mortimer, in my opinion, is coming along fine.
He is still a kid, and a very promising one, not afraid to try things. Watching and learning all the time.

He will become the player everyone wants him to be. "It won't happen overnight, but it will happen"

Agreed, people expect the world from a kid who has been around for 5 mins, Ando said he is very happy with how he is going. He's a tough kid who is willing to learn. If Ando is happy with him that will do me.

I agree with everything you stated Pete, DM is coming along fine.
But "hey"... nothing like a humbling experience to maketh the man.

Morts is on the improve but with kk and tom he will have to be on his toes. Nothing brings out the best in a player like competition

would it happen before his contract expires?

Tom looked like a good footballer tonight. Now I know why he sees himself as a 6, his attempts under the high ball were largely awful. He'll need to learn to attack the ball otherwise teams will walk all over him.

he's a good footballer and will be better for the run but there were definitely some shakey moments there tonight.

he was always going to be targeted.

Ball in hand he was good but I'm just not sure he's a nrl fullback. But he excites me because he could be anything.

He looks a 6 to me, that was 3 playing in the side last night and then Mateo could play there at a pinch. Gee Hogdkinson would be handy about now :?

where does he fit into our full strength team ?

atm, he doesn't

6. Humble
7. Mortimer
9. Robson
14. K. Keating

Matt Keating - see you later.
I`ll be very surprised if Tom Humble is not the five-eight in our Grand Final side later this year.

Bold statement mate

the gf statement? yeh bold very bold but i wouldnt be surprised if kk gets shifted onto the bench for a game and let humble play 6 he did the job for us against manly in his debut well.
but kk on bench would leave a prob with having a 5/8 on the bench and not a hooker....could robbo play 80mins? or would kk come on as hooker and slot in like robbo does when needed to put on possible plays etc
