Hunt wasn't the youngest. Ray Stehr holds that record, back in 1929. Made his first grade debut almost 3 months after turning 16

Stehr? No. He had to go on Kangaroo tours and spent some time playing Bush RL, then spent two years fighting in WWII before returning.
