Because they prefer to harass and bully. They thrive off it do a select few..... if you can't see that now mate don't worry as I guarantee you it'll continue even though I can't see what they're saying now!

He brought it up because he couldn't apologise without undercutting it with a nasty comment.

No one asked him to bring up a family situation. He chose to because it helped support his position.

Then when he was questioned, he squealed attack.

Proves what I've been saying about him.

He'll say anything to try to convince people he's right and if anyone disagrees or questions him he sulks like a spoiled brat.

Rabbits 20, I will be talking about you in a few of these posts as you are at the centre of this debate. Please do not take this as an attack on you as my sole intention is to try and make this forum a better and more inclusive place. I know we had a massive breakthrough last night, but I will still call you out if I think you are in the wrong, as I will other posters.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see how that is sucking up to me. We are just good mates on here and there is a lot to be discussed.

Also Stan, thatnks for sharing your story, that is quite inspirational tbh. I'm sorry sorry that you felt that way earlier in the year, I can't really remember how I reacted to the situation (I know I 100% did not agree with some comments made though) but if I did upset due to a non responce then I apologise. Again though, I can't really remember what I did in this situation.

I wasn't having a go at you or any individual on here.

Firstly, thanks for your apology although it was not really necessary.

I guess my point was that in future, if someone posts or participates in hate speech like this, that it is called out in the open forum where it was posted.

When it is not, it may appear to those watching that others feel the same. I am sure the vast majority on here do not believe that all gay people are paedophiles. However when only a few voice this, it may appear that others support this view. Especially when they defend said posters when they perceive they are being bullied.

I assume that there are a lot of people that read these forums that are not members, I know I read it religiously for 4 or 5 years, before I became angry enough to join.

Anyway mate, I have always respected the fact that you seem to be able to get along with everyone on here. There are not many that can.

Before I step down from my soapbox, I would like to say this.

Whilst I was heartened to see a couple of posters call out this hate speech last year (I can't recall everyone so I won't name names). The silence from most of you was deafening.

I was always taught that the standard you walk by is the standard you accept, and also that you should call out your friends when they are out of line, just as you would your enemies.

I am very lucky in my life, to have friends that call me out when I am wrong. It has happened many times in my life, and has enabled me to grow as a person. The end result of this is that they don't call me out as often as they used to. This is good as I believe I am becoming a better person. I would not want friends that ignore my transgressions.

I would love to think that this forum can be a place for all Rabbitoh's fans to come to and enjoy, regardless of gender, religion or sexual preference.

The fact that so many seemed to be OK with this hate speech surprised me. It is one of the reasons I have not been on here as much as I would have liked.

I can only imagine how confronting it would have been for a young homosexual Souths fan who was thinking of signing up. To see a blind eye turned to posts like this and then also see members sticking up for said posters when they perceived they were being bullied, would be extremely off-putting I imagine.

Once again, I will say as I realise there are many on here with religious views that all homosexuals will go to hell. Whilst I may disagree with this view, I respect your right to have it as part of your religious beliefs.

This is a whole different ballpark to claiming that all homosexuals are paedophiles. As far as I'm aware no religion teaches this.

Anyway, that's my two cents worth. Respond as you will.

That was truly this forums lowest low. What a disgusting time that was. The only good that came from it was the worst forum poster that I have ever come across got banned. Lets hope we never stoop so low again.
