The writers for the Walking Dead are not as subtle as you seem to think they are. In fact, they telegraph everything. They are about as subtle as a brick through a window.

You realise that Dale's character made it to the prison in the comics, right? The actor wanted out and they hastily wrote him out.

i love the show and the comic.
but a couple of issues
1. zombies seem to have amazing jaw pressure, they can bite into a bare arm like it's a piece of fruit. see how easily the zombie torn through hershel's jeans. i don't think any mammal without sharp canines could do that. and even they would find it hard job than most walking dead zombies.

2. at the end of season 1, at the cdc, the doctor showed the group an x-ray of a zombies head, the brain activity didn't extend much past the brain stem, then if that's the case why is a head shot so fatal?

This T Dog guy is tricky. One episode he is dead, then the next he is looking for a pair of slippers. The writers need to make up their mind with this guy. Dead or alive?

Amazing twist at the end with Carol. Absolutely shocking. I'm completely stunned. Never saw that coming. Was completely unprepared. No, really.

Ok, seriously though. I thought this episode was pretty average. That said, it was f**king Shakespeare compared to season 2.

One thing that does seriously piss me off about this show is how they just head into town to go to the store to get what they need. Woodbury is presumably within walking distance of the store and they hadn't already looted the shit out of it?
