okie dokie. I've got a couple of hands for reffing jobs at the WC.

Here's how I'd like it to work. Anyone can ref but ideally, you wouldnt be rostered to play that particular round and/or you cant ref anyone in the same pool as your team. e.g Mr Fahrenheit would like to ref. As he is England captain and England are in the same pool as Malta and Australia, he cant ref those teams.

Thats all depending on the numbers I get and if the other permies put their hands up.

I don't fancy myself as a ref, but if you get desperate, Pistol, I can step into the role. :thumn I'd prefer if I was a backup man, though. I've never done it before, so I just don't know how I'd go...

Also, could I be so kind as to point out that my username has 3 s's, not 4 as on the World Cup page? ;-)

I believe you just did. :)

Okay dave,

If you're not too sure on what to do or how to ref, I'll PM you 2 blind articles, anon of course, and tell me how you'd mark them and reasons for doing so.

Kicks off Sunday

Its time.

It was an absolute nailbiting grand final to finish off the season. A fantastic game to build momentum for the tournament that will kick off in 48 hours.

As the big event approaches, the teams are warming up and going over last minute game plans. Good luck to everyone involved in the World Cup: players, administrators, officials, and fans! :thumn

less than 24 hours to go people and we will find out who will make the final of the inaugural F7s World Cup.

Pool 1 sees Malta take on England with this match having a huge influence as to who will make the final. Australia dispatched England in the first round, with Malta gaining a narrow victory over the Aussies. A big win for England could see them go through, a win for Malta will see them progress. Australia are still in with a chance should England win in a narrow fashion.

Pool 2 is a hot affair. PNG took the points over NZ in a tight tussle. The Irish fought hard but lost in a gripping 2 pointer with the Kiwis. PNG take on the Irish this round. The Irish, should they win by 3 points will draw level with PNG, a win by 4 will see them progress to the final. PNG should they win, will progress to the final. The Kiwis look hard pressed to progress but will be keeping their fingers crossed.

Good luck to all
