After 32 heart-wrenching years, seven failed world cup campaigns, at 11pm tonight, the wait for Australia to return to the world stage will finally be over. I personally cannot wait to hear the Australian National Anthem being blasted out of the Fritz Walter Stadium in Kaiserslauten. I'm pumped!!!!

The defence looks a little iffy but we seem to be getting through their defence easily enough. A few good opportunities - Kewell's shot must have missed by a bee's dick seriously, Bresh needs to find his nerve when shooting at goal - the free kick was a good kick but his first shot should have been put away...

Wilkshire needs to go and get Cahill on soon in the second half - he's not up to it...

They don't look despondent from the worst refereeing decision ever and still look in it. Bring those f**kers on!

This is the best feeling ever. Nobody gave us a chance and we not only won it, we stormed home. Furious at that Japanese goal going in, and at our shoddy defence pretty much all game - but we did the job. Timmy Cahill is a God.
