On the field, I think he is an a-grade grub, but that is just his competitvenes coming out.
I noticed after every conversion, he would hand the tee to the parra ball boys as opposed to just throwing it at him and would give him a pat on the back...little things i know, but for these kids its massive. Seems to be pretty good with the kids

* He seems to blame everyone but himself for c**k-ups (true, Reddy's try should have been cleaned up by Bowen, but how about the dirty looks he was giving his teammates when Hayne scored his second and third tries? He got brushed aside like a rag doll in both instances)

You're making too much of this. So the kid was smart enough to realise Hindy is a better role model for him - big deal.
